Deck and patio cleaning that doesn't chew up the boards.
Wood decks are the easiest thing in the world to ruin with a pressure washer. A wand held too close will fur the grain, gouge softer summer wood, and leave you staining a splintery surface.

What do homeowners ask about Deck & Patio?
How soon can I stain the deck after cleaning?
No, wood needs to hit below about 15% moisture content before stain will bond. That usually means 48 to 72 hours of dry weather after a cleaning. Stain on a wet deck will peel within a year.
Will pressure washing splinter my deck?
Only if someone misuses the wand. Tips held back from the surface and cleaner chemistry do most of the work. If your deck is already rough, a light sand pass after drying smooths it before you stain.
What about Trex or other composites?
Composites have specific manufacturer cleaning requirements, and some void the warranty if you use SH or pressure over 1,500 PSI. Ask the pro to follow the brand's rules, such as the maker's recommended cleaner and soft-wash pressure on Trex, or a percarbonate mix on Fiberon.
Will the cleaner bleach my natural stone patio?
Slate and travertine get the same. The concern is iron-bearing stone going rust-colored from the wrong chemistry.
